Activity: Review chapter 6 and 7 vocab cards (drill and thrill), do a picture walk through chapter 8, make predictions and ask questions you would like answered about fossils (teacher records them), use the fossil graphic to infer, then begin reading chapter 8
Assignment: bring in an item you would like to fossilize (it must be the size of your fist or smaller)
